XR Creator Hackathon
- A total of five teams were declared as winners in XR Creator Hackathon, which represent a mix of students, professionals, and entrepreneurs from different cities and institutions.
- The hackathon was a part of Create in India Challenge (CIC) Season-1, launched as part of the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES), organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with Wavelaps.

- Two students named Ashir Kariyattil and Mohammed Nabin from College of Agriculture, Vellayani, a suburb of Kerala capital Thiruvananthapuram have developed edible wrappers named as ‘Eden Wrap’, which will help in reducing plastic waste and promote sustainable living.
