Tribhuvan Cooperative University Bill, 2025

  • The 'Tribhuvan Cooperative University Bill, 2025' was passed by the Rajya Sabha on April 1, 2025.
  • The bill was earlier passed by the Lok Sabha on March 26, 2025.

  • The bill provides for transforming the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), Gujarat into "Tribhuvan" Cooperative University.
  • Currently, IRMA is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

Key Provisions of the Constitution (97th Amendment) Act, 2011:

  • Article 19(1)(c): The term "Cooperative Societies" was added.
  • Part IXB (Articles 243ZH-243ZT): Provisions related to Cooperative Societies were introduced.

"NITI NCAER States Economic Forum" Portal

  • Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched the "NITI NCAER States Economic Forum" portal.

Enforcement of Banking Regulation (Amendment) Act, 2020
