First River Dolphin Census Report

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 7th meeting of the National Board for Wildlife at Gir National Park, Gujarat, and released India's first River Dolphin Census Report.
  • According to the report, India's rivers have a total of 6,327 river dolphins, with the highest number found in Uttar Pradesh.
