- The Uttar Pradesh government has presented a budget of ₹8,08,736 crore for the financial year 2025-26, which is 9.8% higher than the previous year.
- This is the ninth budget of the Yogi government, focusing on various sectors.
- About 20.5% of the ₹8,08,736 lakh crore budget will be allocated for capital expenditure.
- The budget allocates 22% for infrastructure development, 13% for education, 11% for agriculture and allied services, 6% for medical and health, and 4% for social security programs.
