PtPdCoNiMn
- Researchers at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) in Bengaluru have developed a novel high-entropy alloy (HEA) catalyst called PtPdCoNiMn (consisting of Platinum, Palladium, Cobalt, Nickel and Manganese), for the efficient generation of green hydrogen.
Green hydrogen is produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using electricity from renewable sources like wind, solar, or hydropower. This process is called electrolysis. |
