Operation Chivalrous Knight 3

  • The United Arab Emirates has initiated the largest phase of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, dispatching over 200 tonnes of essential aid to Gaza.

 

One component of the operation is the ‘Birds of Goodness’ initiative, which airdrops supplies to areas in northern Gaza that are inaccessible by land.

  • The Union agriculture ministry has launched its first-ever survey to assess edible oil consumption patterns in India.

3rd National Mining Ministers’ Conference

  • Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy at the 3rd National Mining Ministers’ Conference in Konark, Odisha said that Centre will soon launch the National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM) to enhance domestic production.
Lithium, Cobalt, Copper, Nickel, and Rare earth elements are known as critical minerals.

Set of five copper plates of the Pallava dynasty

  • A set of five copper plates of the Pallava dynasty has been found in Karnataka. The text on the copper plates is written in Sanskrit and early Telugu-Kannada (Archaic variety) characters of the 5th-6th CE.

  • Ruled from Kanchipuram during the 4th to 9th centuries CE.
  • Simhavarman I is considered one of the earliest known Pallava rulers.
  • Narasimhavarman I (c. 630 – 668 CE): Credited with the construction of Shore Temple in Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
