- India's ranking has dropped by five spots from 80th to 85th in Henley Passport Index 2025, released by citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners.
Henley Passport Index
- Started in 2006 as the Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions Index (HVRI).
- It includes 199 passports and 227 travel destinations.
- The index and its contents are based on data provided by the International Air Transport Authority (IATA)
- Henley & Partners was formed in 1997 through the combination of a private client immigration consultancy and a fiduciary company.
