Autism spectrum disorder and Epilepsy

  • A team of researchers, led by Viji Santhakumar, has identified a gene that contributes to the behavioural changes associated with autism spectrum disorder and epilepsy.

MoU between AWBI and NALSAR University of Law

  • The Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NALSAR University of Law, to train Animal Welfare Representatives, in Hyderabad.

Length of India's National Highway network

  • According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the length of India's National Highway network has surged by 60% in the last 10 years from 91,287 km in 2014 to 146,195 km in 2024.
