US visit of EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar
- External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar is on a six-day visit to the United States from 24th December.
- During the visit, he will chair a conference of the Consul Generals of India in the USA.

Government scrapped no-detention policy for classes 5 and 8
- The Union Government has scrapped the no-detention policy for classes five and eight.
- The Students who failed in the annual examination of classes five and eight will have a chance to retake the test within two months. After the retest, if they fail again, they will not be promoted.
TARA
- The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) unveiled an upgraded website.
- A Chatbot 'TARA' (Telecom Authority Responsive Advisor) has been introduced to facilitate interactive search.
