First Annual Report of BRIC
- Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh chaired the second annual general meeting of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC) Society in New Delhi.
- On the occasion, Mr Singh announced the successful gene therapy trial for haemophilia conducted with the support of the Department of Biotechnology by the Christian Medical college, Vellore.
- He also launched the first annual report of BRIC, i3c BRIC-RCB-PhD Programme Brochure and the BRIC alumni portal.
NDTL received approval from WADA as an Athlete Passport Management Unit
- National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), New Delhi has received the approval from World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) as an Athlete Passport Management Unit to manage Athlete Biological Passport.
