The eShram – One Stop Solution is an extension of the eShram portal, which was recently launched by Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya launched “eShram – One Stop Solution” in New Delhi .

Background of the eShram Portal

• Launch Date: 26th August 2021
• Ministry: Ministry of Labour & Employment
• Purpose: To register unorganised sector workers and provide access to social security schemes aimed at improving their livelihoods and well-being.

Achievement 

• Since its launch, the platform has recorded more than 30 crore registrations within three years, showcasing its significance and the trust workers have placed in this initiative. 
• Daily, 60,000 to 90,000 workers are joining the platform.

Features of eShram – One Stop Solution

1. Simplified Registration: The platform provides an easy and transparent registration process for unorganised workers, facilitating their access to various welfare schemes.
2. Integrated Welfare Schemes:The platform is designed to consolidate and integrate data from various Central Ministries and Departments into a single repository, enabling unorganised workers to access multiple schemes at one point.

       4. Social Security and Welfare Benefits: Workers will have access to multiple social security schemes, which                   include health benefits, pension schemes, insurance, and employment assistance, all aimed at enhancing their                 livelihoods.

       5. Continuous Integration: The platform will continue onboarding other government schemes to ensure that all                   welfare programs are accessible to unorganised workers in one place.

       6. Data Consolidation: In line with the Budget Announcement and the 100-day agenda of the Ministry of Labour                 and Employment, the One Stop Solution consolidates data, ensuring efficient management of resources and                     benefits for workers.

• This initiative ensures that the unorganised workforce, which constitutes a significant part of India's economy, gets access to necessary welfare and social security benefits, ultimately improving their standard of living.
