Maldivian President’s 5 Day visit to India
- Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu was accorded a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan. President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar welcomed Maldivian President and his wife Sajidha Mohamed.

'Prisoner of Conscience'
- Amnesty International on 2 October awarded the title of 'Prisoner of Conscience' to three human rights activists from mainland China and Hong Kong - Chow Hang-tung, Ding Jiaxi and Jimmy Lai.
- A prisoner of conscience (POC) is someone who is imprisoned or persecuted for their non-violent beliefs, such as their political, religious, or other conscientiously held beliefs.

National Centre of Excellence
- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Maharashtra and the Sports Authority of India was signed for the establishment of the National Centre of Excellence in Kandivali, Mumbai.
India’s biggest hydrogen blending in natural gas project
- Adani Group, in cooperation with France's TotalEnergies, started India's biggest hydrogen blending in natural gas programme in Ahmedabad.
In this process Hydrogen produced through clean methods is injected into natural gas pipelines. The percentage of green hydrogen in the blend will gradually increase from 2.2–2.3% to 5% and eventually to 8%. |

- Scientists have developed ultrasound to turn a small part of our body’s tissue into droplets that are released into the blood.
