PARAM Rudra Supercomputers

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated three PARAM Rudra Supercomputers and a High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems 'Arka' and 'Arunika', designed for weather and climate research in Pune.
  • PARAM Rudra supercomputers, developed indigenously under the National Supercomputing Mission at a cost of around ₹130 crore, have been deployed in Pune, Delhi, and Kolkata to support advanced scientific research.

5G O-RAN Testing Lab

  • Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia inaugurated the 5G O-RAN testing lab and the "Tejas Centre of Excellence for Wireless Communications" at C-DOT Bengaluru Campus. He also unveiled the indigenously designed 32T32R Massive MIMO radio, which can deliver download speeds exceeding 1 Gbps using 5G mid-band spectrum.
