6 Vande Bharat Express Trains

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off six Vande Bharat Express trains, it will cover routes Tatanagar- Patna, Bhagalpur- Dumka- Howrah, Gaya- Howrah , Deoghar- Varanasi, Rourkela- Howrah and Brahampur- Tatanagar Vande Bharat trains.

Vande Bharat Express

  • Inaugurated: February 15, 2019, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  • Train ran from New Delhi to Varanasi
  • India's first semi-high-speed rail service.

  • Union Minister for MSME Jitan Ram Manjhi inaugurated the Centre for Rural Enterprise Acceleration through Technology (CREATE) setup at Leh through virtual mode.

  • According to new research, Ozone gas is reducing the growth of tropical forests leaving an estimated 290 million tonnes of carbon uncaptured each year. It calculates that ground-level ozone reduces new yearly growth in tropical forests by 5.1% on average.
