Digital Bharat Nidhi
- The first set of rules under the Telecom Act 2023, known as ‘Digital Bharat Nidhi,’ has come into effect. The Digital Bharat Nidhi will replace the erstwhile Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF).

South Korea's climate targets are unconstitutional
- South Korea's Constitutional Court declared that the government's climate targets are unconstitutional because they do not safeguard the rights of future generations.
- The court mandated the creation of emission reduction plans for the period from 2031-49 and instructed the government to amend the carbon neutrality law by February 28, 2026, to incorporate these plans.

New Records in History of T20 cricket
- Priyansh Arya and Ayush Badoni put up a partnership of 286 runs, the highest ever achieved by any pair in the history of T20 cricket.
- Ayush Badoni surpassed the record of Chris Gayle by hitting 19 sixes in an innings. Gayle had hit 18 sixes in the Bangladesh Premier League in 2017.
- Priyansh Arya joins an elite list of batters including Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard and Nicholas Pooran to hit 6 sixes in a single over.
- A total of 31 sixes were hit by the team, surpassing the previous record of 26 sixes held by Nepal.
