MoU between KVIC and Department of Posts

  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) and Department of Posts has been signed. Under this MoU, the employees of the Postal Department will physically verify new units being set up across the Country under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme PMEGP.

Mpox strain in Thailand

  • Thailand has detected the first suspected case of new Mpox strain.Thailand and Sweden are the first countries outside of Africa to detect Mpox cases of the Clade 1b variant.

Ocean of magma on Moon

  • ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 mission data supported the theory that the Moon was once covered in an ocean of magma, or a 'magma ocean'.The analysis pertained to measurements of the lunar soil, recorded by the Pragyan rover and taken at multiple points along a 100-metre track on the surface.
