First Policy Makers Forum
- Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Ministry of External Affairs hosted ‘First Policy Makers’ Forum in New Delhi.
- This forum is an international delegation of policymakers and drug regulators from 15 countries.
Prime Ministers Foreign Tour
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a three day visit to Poland and Ukraine. PM of India is visiting Poland after 45 years and this will be the first time an Indian Prime Minister will be visiting Ukraine in more than 30 years since the diplomatic relations were established.

3rd India – Japan Ministerial Dialogue
- 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue between India and Japan was held in New Delhi.
- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, Japanese Minister of Defense Kihara Minoru and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms Yoko Kamikawa reviewed the bilateral cooperation and explored new initiatives to further strengthen the engagements between the two countries.

Thalassemia Bal Sewa Yojana
- According to the Ministry of Coal ‘Thalassemia Bal Sewa Yojana’ has reached a significant milestone with the successful completion of 500 bone marrow transplants.
- The programme provides financial assistance of up to 10 lakh rupees per patient for the treatment of Thalassemia Major and Aplastic Anaemia.

Microplastic Contamination in food
- The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) launched an innovative project to tackle the growing concern of microplastic contamination in food in New Delhi.
- In a recent report, the Food and Agriculture Organisation has highlighted the presence of microplastics in common food items such as sugar and salt.

Category I, II AIFs
- As per a recent SEBI circular, Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) in Category I and II can now borrow for operational flexibility, capped at 10% of investible funds, or 20% of drawdown value, which is the amount called from investors for making investments in an investee company.
- AIF in India is a privately pooled investment vehicle for sophisticated investors, Indian or foreign.

- Former Chief of Army Staff General Sundararajan Padmanabhan, who led the Army during Operation Parakram (2001–2002) and affectionately known as "Paddy" in army circles, passed away at age of 83.
