- According to the Government , 11 crore 75 lakh tap water connections have been provided to rural households under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM): Har Ghar Jal in the last five years.
- An online JJM: Water Quality Management Information System (WQMIS) portal has also been developed to enable States and Union Territories to test water samples for water quality.

- The Department of Posts collaborated with IIT Hyderabad for developing a National Addressing Grid, named as Digital Postal Index Number (DIGIPIN), to establish a standardised, geo-coded addressing system in India.

Major Highlights of Economic Survey 2023-24
- Survey projected a real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of 6.5 to 7% in Financial Year 2024-25.
- The survey states that the country’s real GDP grew by 8.2 per cent in the financial year 2024.
- Reserve Bank of India expects headline inflation to be 4.5% in financial year 2025 and 4.1 per cent in 2026.
- India’s fiscal deficit has been brought down from 6.4 percent of GDP in Financial Year 2023 to 5.6 percent of GDP in Fiscal Year 2024 and expected to drop to 4.5 percent of GDP or lower by the financial year 2026.
- The Indian Economy needs to generate nearly 78.5 lakh jobs annually in the non-farm sector until 2030 to cater to the rising workforce.
- An estimated 13.5 crore Indians escaped multidimensional poverty between 2015-16 and 2019-21.

- A Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) report highlighted that 40 million people were living with the HIV virus that causes AIDS last year, over 9 million weren't getting any treatment, resulting in death of someone every minute because of AIDS-related causes.
