Ladka Bhau Yojana
- Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced a job training and stipend scheme for youth, named ‘Ladka Bhau’ Yojana.
- Under this scheme, job seekers who are class 12 pass will receive 6,000 rupees, diploma holders will get 8,000 rupees, and bachelor’s degree holders will get 10,000 rupees per annum, during their on-job training in the industry.

Sri Lankan golden-backed frog and shrub frog found in India
- A team of researchers from Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) and the Andhra Pradesh Biodiversity Board found two frog species named Sri Lankan golden-backed frog (Hylarana gracilis) and Sri Lankan shrub frog (Pseudophilautus regius), native to Sri Lanka thriving in a Eastern Ghats in India.
