Global Gender Gap Index

  • India has slipped two places on the Global Gender Gap index to 129th place, while Iceland retained its top spot.
  • Within South Asia, India ranked fifth after Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan, with Pakistan ranked last.
