Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya

  • Department of School Education signed an MoU with the National Book Trust in New Delhi to create an institutional framework for the Digital Library Platform, Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya.

  • India took over the baton of hosting World Telecommunication Standardisation Assembly (WTSA) 2024 in New Delhi from 15-24 October 2024 during the AI for Good Global Summit at ITU Geneva.

Bonn Climate Change Conference

  • United Nations Climate head Simon Stiell has warned that the world is headed for 2.7 degrees Celsius warming, and the road to keeping it to 1.5 degrees Celsius is extremely steep.
  • He was speaking at the Bonn Climate Change Conference in Germany.
  • The Bonn meeting from June 3 to 13 is known as halfway to the annual climate summit, also known as the 29th Conference of Parties, or COP29.
