Electricity export to Nepal
- India renewed the agreement to export electricity to Nepal as per the Himalayan nation's request.
- Under the agreement, Nepal in total can import 554 MW electricity from India between 6 am to 6 pm.

INDRA
- An indigenous mobile application INDRA (Indian Naval Dynamic Resource for Weather Analysis) to disseminate weather related information and forecasts empowering optimal & quick decision making was launched.
- The application has been developed by BISAG (Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics) in coordination with Directorate of Naval Oceanology and Meteorology, Indian Navy.

- President Droupadi Murmu will present the Bharat Ratna Awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
- Former Prime Ministers Chaudhary Charan Singh and P V Narasimha Rao, Former Bihar Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur and Eminent Scientist M. S. Swaminathan will be awarded the Award posthumously.
- Former Deputy Prime Minister and Veteran BJP leader L K Advani will also be given the award.

- Former Cryptocurrency entrepreneur Sam Bankman Fried has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for a major fraud case linked to the collapse of FTX in USA.
Shyamji Krishna Varma
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to Shyamji Krishna Varma on his death anniversary.
- Born in 1857 in Gujarat, Varma founded the Indian Home Rule Society, the India House and The Indian Sociologist in London to promote the cause of Indian nationalism and freedom.
