Alternate Auto Fuel Ethanol100

• Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri launched Ethanol100, an alternate auto fuel in New Delhi.
• Ethanol100, a cleaner and greener alternative to gasoline, is a blend of 92 to 94 percent ethanol, 4 to 5 percent motor spirit to provide colour to flame and 1.5 percent Co-solvent higher saturated alcohol.

‘CAA-2019’ Mobile App

• ‘CAA-2019’ Mobile App for making application under Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 has become operational.
• Article 11 provides powers to the Parliament of India to regulate the right of citizenship by law.

• Government has notified the Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 2024 to comprehensively improve the film certification process.

National Time Protocol (NTP)

• Union Minister of Consumer Affairs Piyush Goyal inaugurated National Time Protocol (NTP) for dissemination of Indian Standard Time in Mumbai.
• This will provide Uniform and precise time information with milliseconds accuracy and will also increase the cyber security.

Govt approves E- Vehicle Policy

• Union government has rolled out an e-vehicle policy to encourage and boost domestic manufacturing of e-vehicles.
• The policy is aimed at attracting investments in e-vehicle space.

T+0 Settlement

• Capital markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved the launch of the beta version of the T+0 settlement on an optional basis from March 28.
• T+0 settlement means that the funds and securities for a transaction will be settled on the day the trade was entered into.

Dornier Aircraft

• Defence Ministry signed contract worth over 2890 crore rupees with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for Mid Life Upgrade MLU of 25 Dornier Aircraft of Indian Navy in New Delhi.

• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated Nausena Bhawan in New Delhi.
