Digital Criminal Case Management System
- Union Home Minister Amit Shah virtually inaugurated a unique digital Criminal Case Management System (CCMS), designed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in New Delhi.
- He also launched a mobile app ‘Sankalan’ – A compendium of New Criminal Laws by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
Gender Inequality Index 2022
- India has registered a significant jump of 14 ranks in Gender Inequality Index 2022.
- According to the Human Development Report 2023-24, India ranked 108 out of 193 countries with a score of 0.437 in GII 2022.
- India ranks 134th in global human development index.

India, Singapore Sign MOU
- India and Singapore have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the sphere of law and dispute resolution.
- The agreement was signed in a virtual meeting of the Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal and Singapore Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Mr. Edwin Tong.

World Youth Festival
- Russian Embassy in New Delhi hosted a ceremony for Indian participants of the World Youth Festival, held in Russia’s Sirius Federal Territory in Sochi.
- The ceremony was presided over by Russian Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov.

Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity
- Union Minister Piyush Goyal joined Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) Virtual Ministerial Meeting.
- IPEF was launched in May 2022, bringing together 14 regional partners – Australia, Brunei, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam – in a new model of economic cooperation.

- Central Government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a 23 million dollar loan agreement to strengthen the fintech ecosystem in India.

Eat Right Campus
- Around 100 jails across the country have been certified as Eat Right Campus by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
- Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that the highest number of jails certified were from Uttar Pradesh, followed by Punjab, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.

- Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry Dairying Parshottam Rupala released Book and Video on “Sagar Parikrama”.
- The Book contains 7 chapters covering genesis of Sagar Parikrama, Overview and detailed coverage of the journey of West coast, East coast and the key take away.
- India is the 3rd largest fish producer, 2nd largest aquaculture producer, largest shrimp producer and 4th largest top seafood exporter in the world.

- Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute in association with NFDC and NFAI is organizing ARCUREA 2024 – an event on archiving, curation and restoration of films.
- National Film Archive of India (NFAI) was established as a media unit of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, in February 1964.
