• During this, She awarded cricketer Mohammed Shami with the Arjuna Award for his outstanding achievements in cricket.
• He gave his outstanding performance in the runner-up men's team in the ICC Cricket World Cup held in India in 2023 and the 2023 ICC World Test Championship held in London, England in 2023.
• Mohammed Shami is the highest wicket -taking Indian bowler in the ICC World Cup.
• Apart from this, archers player Aditi Gopichand Swamy won two gold medals in individual and women's team at the World Archery Championship held in Berlin, Germany in 2023 and a gold and one bronze in the individual and women's team in the 19th Asian Games held in China last year.
• Recognizing her achievements, the President awarded her the Arjuna Award for the year 2023.

• Apart from these, the President made Anush Aggarwal and Divyakriti Singh in horse riding game for outstanding performance in Sports and Games 2023, Krishna Bahadur Pathak in Hockey, Pukhrambam Sushila Chanu, Pawan Kumar and Ritu Negi in Kabaddi and Nasreen in Kho Kho Prize.
• Along with this, Pinky was also awarded the Arjuna Award in Lawn Bowls, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar in shooting, Sunil Kumar in wrestling and Norem Roshibina Devi in Wushu.

• Sheetal Devi in Para Archery Sports, Illuri Ajay Kumar Reddy in Blind Cricket, Prachi Yadav in Paracanoeing, were presented the Arjuna Awards for outstanding performance at Sports and Games 2023.
